1. Information we collect

• Account information: name or display name, username, email address, country, password hash, verification and consent records, membership status, and preferences.
• Profile and content: avatar or Gravatar, biography, social links, promotions, advertisements, creatives, support tickets, reports, chat or community posts, and other submitted content.
• Activity and rewards: page and ad views, clicks, challenges, completions, points, ad credit, commissions, Piggy Bank records, referrals, tokens, board movement, tickets, votes, games, streaks, purchases, scheduled ads, and audit-ledger entries.
• Cross-Promo data: partner identity, organization, approved sites, script type, public banners, site keys, campaign settings, member usernames at partner sites, completion signals, reward settings, signed connector requests, health checks, and delivery receipts.
• Technical and security data: IP address or keyed IP hash, device and browser information, timestamps, requested URLs, session identifiers, cookies, local storage, error and security logs, referral source, and fraud indicators.
• Payment information: transaction references, amount, currency, status, and payment destination. Payment processors may collect financial credentials directly; Promo Junkie does not need to store full payment-card numbers.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; send verification, recovery, security, reward, support, and selected marketing messages; moderate ads and content; deliver and measure advertising; calculate balances and achievements; operate games and leaderboards; track referrals; schedule inventory; prevent duplicate or fraudulent activity; support Cross-Promo campaigns; validate signed connector events; provide support; maintain audit records; improve performance; enforce our Terms; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies and similar technology

We use session cookies and similar local technologies for authentication, CSRF protection, preferences, challenge state, rate limiting, referral attribution, viewer progress, and feature operation. Blocking essential cookies may prevent login or rewards from working. Third-party services such as security challenges, Gravatar, payment processors, or embedded partner content may set or receive their own identifiers under their policies. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not interpreted consistently; we honor the privacy controls described in this Policy.

4. When information is disclosed

We may disclose the minimum information reasonably needed to:

• service providers that host, protect, email, process payments for, monitor, or support the Service;
• approved Cross-Promo partner sites to match the username you supplied, verify completion, prevent duplicate rewards, and deliver a configured reward;
• another member or the public when you choose a public profile or when a feature visibly publishes a username, avatar, approved ad, token, leaderboard position, Live Wire event, game result, or community post;
• law enforcement, regulators, courts, or affected parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud;
• a successor in a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale, subject to appropriate protection and notice where required.

We do not disclose your password, raw recovery token, or secret connector key to partner sites. Partner sites are independent operators and apply their own privacy policies to data they collect directly.

5. Public and community features

Public profiles, partner-site cards, approved ads, social links, leaderboards, token collections, Live Wire entries, chat, testimonials, and game activity may be visible to other members or visitors. Avoid posting private or sensitive information. Where controls are offered, review visibility settings before publishing.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information while an account or partner connection is active and as reasonably necessary for advertising delivery, rewards, support, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, security, and legal obligations. Authenticated deletion requests disable ordinary access and public use; limited financial, reward, commission, connector, consent, moderation, and security records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required. Records selected for disposal are destroyed or rendered unreadable using reasonable safeguards.

7. Your choices

You may update account and profile information, change visibility settings, unsubscribe from optional marketing categories, manage connected usernames, request correction, or submit an authenticated deletion request through available account settings or Support. Verification, password recovery, security, transaction, and essential service notices may still be sent. We may request identity verification before acting and may retain information where an exception applies.

8. Security

Promo Junkie uses safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the data, including password hashing, protected sessions, CSRF controls, prepared database queries, access restrictions, verification tokens, rate limits, secret-key separation, signed connector design, audit logs, and security headers. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password, keep partner keys private, use HTTPS, and report suspected compromise promptly.

9. Email and communications

Account verification, password reset, security, purchase, payout, connector, moderation, and support emails are transactional. Optional community, referral, commission, and marketing categories can be managed through account controls or an unsubscribe mechanism. Partners using Promo Junkie materials remain responsible for obtaining permission and following applicable email and advertising law.

10. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact Support if you believe a minor supplied information so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

11. United States and Georgia

Promo Junkie is operated from Georgia, United States, and information may be processed in the United States. Privacy and consumer-protection requirements vary by location. We will honor rights that apply to a verified request and will not discriminate for exercising a non-waivable privacy right.

12. Changes and contact

We may revise this Policy when technology, integrations, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date and additional notice where required. Privacy questions, access or deletion requests, and security reports should be submitted through the Promo Junkie Support Center. Never send a password, full payment credential, or connector secret in a support message.
